Would be helpful if you can identify who is in the photos. It’s really difficult to rememeber back that far.
George Holland seldom identified the people in his photographs. We know SOME of the people in selected images, but the hope is that visitors to the site will help to identify everyone. This image is not as clear as we would like, so I will try to post a sharper image soon.
I could be wrong, because I graduated in 1990, but I swear the second man from the left in the back row is Mr. John “Jasper” Nolan and he taught high school history when I was in school there.
that is Mr. Nolan and next to him in the middle is Mr. Milligan
I think the 2nd man from left is Jasper Nolan-history teacher, next is Gerald Milligan-Business teacher and next to him I think is Mr. Murphy-social studies? ( can’t remember his first name). Is the lady second from left Ms. Melville? Third from left might be Miss Light-home economics teacher?
Next to Mr. Milligan is Vince Murphy who was the Social Studies Teacher, 2nd from right was Mrs. Slavic.
Correction Mrs.Slavic is 2nd from left.
I think last man in back row far right is
Mr. Scaglione?
Is that Betty Turcotte on the right?
The first woman on the left is Mrs. Mandigo, and the third woman is Mrs. Burroughs.
Not sure 1st top left, 2nd is Jasper Nolan, Gerald Milligan, Dick Bartholomew,
? Vince Desantis or Don Ashline?, Randall Schlappich
front row: ? Mrs. Mandigo, Anne Schlappich (they later changed their last name to something simple, I believe Taylor), June Burroughs,maybe ? Lois Licht, Gail Ashline, last on right, not sure.
On Mrs. Burrough’s right is a home-ec teacher Miss Bright?? I don’t thiink that’s Dick Bartholomew, i think it’s Vince Murphy.
