last person on the driver side is lenny anderson, older couple is his mother and father
Thanks Phil, I didn’t realize that was Leonard until I took a closer look. His parents were Edith and Ernie Anderson. The two deer heads are on the living room wall of their great-grandsons house over in Hudson Falls. When Ernie started feeling poorly he gave them to Bernice, she passed them on to her son. Edith was a great hunter. She would go out during the day, kill her deer, hang it in a tree, gut it. When Ernie came home from work at night she’d tell him where it was hanging and he’d go out and bring it in. Talk about team work. She always carried a rifle when she went black berry picking because bears liked berries too.
oh my gosh…I didn’t recognize Edith and Ernie. I knew them as older folks. I definitely didn’t notice Leonard. I kept looking at this photo and thinking I know these people. Edith and Ernie Anderson along with their son Leonard were neighbors and good friends with my grandparents Rich and Marilyn Allen. So nice to see a picture of them doing what they loved to do hunt and fish.
